Bristol-Myers Squibb to purchase ZymoGenetics for $885 million

Bristol-Myers Squibb announced Tuesday that it entered into a definitive agreement to purchase ZymoGenetics in a deal valued at approximately $885 million, or approximately $735 million net of cash acquired. "The acquisition of ZymoGenetics brings us full ownership of a promising investigational biologic that strengthens our very diversified Hepatitis C portfolio," noted Bristol-Myers Squibb CEO Lamberto Andreotti.
